Making a difference

The true definition of life involves understanding oneself, one's surroundings, one's response and exploring the contribution this makes to well-being. Life Management Training (LMT) is therefore distinctly different to personal development skills, relying on a philosophical understanding of life itself rather than any man-made attempts to explain it which we call Lifeism®. This encompasses the entire range of ideologies that relate to life and its interactions, culminating in an understanding of everything living and the nature of the human condition within it. Therefore, it considers that life is the core of knowledge for both society and the individual, and knowing life, as defined by Lifeism®, is the essential awareness that underpins personal progress and the understanding of sense, meaning, and purpose. The true way of life made by nature. It employs Natural Realism, fostering a deeper understanding of sense, meaning, and purpose.

A whole industry has grown up calling itself life coaching; however, the inconvenient truth is that this term is misleading. Life coaching is the practice of offering Personal Development Skills (PDS) to help individuals achieve their personal and professional goals through strategies such as setting objectives, creating action plans, and providing accountability. However, this doesn’t explain life and only offers a minimal understanding of how to manage it.

Life coaching actually involves learning Personal Development Skills (PDS), setting goals, examining choices, and managing time effectively across various areas, including relationships, business and personal development. It utilises ongoing tools, techniques, and strategies to create change and achieve success in these areas. However, this is not coaching about life.

Life coaches wisely recognise themselves as being outside of the realm of therapy, counselling, mentoring, or consulting. However, many therapists and counsellors have chosen to provide life coaching as an ancillary activity. These Personal Development Skills (PDS) undoubtedly play a role in addressing day-to-day challenges in society, but they are not the ultimate solution for preparing for life.

By understanding Objective Rationality one can learn from nature, thereby enhancing our response to the world and fostering a deeper understanding of existence itself. Therefore, Life Management Training (LMT) is the knowledge of life that can be used to arrange a life that is right for each of us within our individual circumstances. And by changing your thinking to an objective perception of reality, you can transform your life, but only for the better…
